talbot

in a few words

Talbot Hall is a 26 year old artist who currently makes her home in Chicago, which she came to by way of Los Angeles. Talbot was born and raised near Charlotte, North Carolina, where she nurtured her love for the arts from a young age as an actress.

After graduating high school Talbot transitioned into filmmaking and screenwriting, which ultimately led her to pursue an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. While enrolled in the Film and Television Production program Talbot refined her skills in writing, directing, producing and casting, before accidentally falling in love with black and white analog photography and needlecraft during her final semester. She graduated in the winter of 2019, and is currently on an informal leave of decompression and reconstruction on the east coast.

Talbot plans to return to Los Angeles when her creative energy and health are restored to their maximum capacity, but is using her time in Chicago to build her needlecraft and boudoir businesses, conceptualize and capture new photo series, travel, heal, co-write a feature film, watch HBO with her mother, cat, and dog, and walk on the beach posing cosmic inquiries of irresolvable magnitude to the breaking tides.

Talbot loves to talk. She loves to meet new people, especially other artists. Please direct any inquiries of a creative, collaborative, commission or booking-related, personal, existential, or pet-related nature directly to her at talbotnhall@gmail.com.

A note from Talbot in the first person: Thank you for visiting my website. Thank you twice if you stayed for a while to look at my work. I hope that it leaves you with more questions than answers, and I hope that you’ll share those questions with me.

Wishing you peace, comfort, and abundant creativity!
